What is ThinkFirst Smart Hockey?
This video, supported by Scotiabank, teaches individuals how to prevent, identify, and return to play after a concussion, and provides Canadians with information to support injury prevention on the ice.
It also features interviews with hockey superstars, John Tavares, Tessa Bonhomme, Patrice Bergeron, Tyler Myers, and Caroline Ouellette.

This video was developed and reviewed in consultation with a team of multidisciplinary experts including members of ThinkFirst Canada's Concussion Education and Awareness Committee, sports medicine doctors, neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, researchers, and concussion experts in Canada. It was also developed in keeping with the international Zurich Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport. It has been endorsed by the NHL, NHLPA and IIHF.
