Keeping teen drivers safe

Teen driver safety is a huge issue in Canada - while young people only make up 13% of licensed drivers, they account for approximately one quarter of all road-related injuries and fatalities. Most of these injuries and deaths can be prevented.

Happening from October 19 - 25, 2014 National Teen Driver Safety Week (#NTDSW) is designed to stop the clock on unnecessary teen deaths on the road by raising awareness and seeking solutions.

We encourage all drivers to protect themselves and their communities by pledging to #PracticeSafeText while they are driving. Remember: keep two hands on the wheel and two eyes on the road.
