Concussion E-learning Courses

As part of Parachute’s goal to build awareness and influence behavior, these online e-learning modules on concussion give players, parents and educators the tools and resources they need to prevent and manage concussion.

Brain Waves

Brain Waves is a free, informative and fun half-day neuroscience presentation for students in grades 4 to 6. Students learn about different parts of the brain, basic neuroscience vocabulary, and how and why it's important to protect their brain and spinal cord.

Think First for Kids

ThinkFirst For Kids is a school-based curriculum program for teachers and children in Grades K to 8. Using lessons and fun activities, the program is interactive and flexible, allowing teachers to focus on specific injury risks (including concussion) to engage their students in learning how to think first before participating in their favourite activities at home, school and play.

Guidelines for Concussion - Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation

Collated by the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation, guidelines were developed to enable health care practitioners to effectively diagnose and manage concussion/mTBI in adults (over the age of 18) and treat symptoms that persist over time.
